The Contemporary Arts Center is supported in part by CAC members; by a grant from the Louisiana State Arts Council through the Louisiana Division of the Arts and the NEA; by a Community Arts Grant made possible by the City of New Orleans as administered by the Arts Council of New Orleans; and by the Goldring Family Foundation, Woldenberg Foundation, Hunt Brothers of Louisiana, Hunt Telecom, and Coca Cola.

Visual Arts programs of the Contemporary Arts Center are supported by the Sydney & Walda Besthoff Foundation and by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Education and Outreach programs are supported by the Helis Foundation, Zemurray Foundation, and Joe and Dorothy Dorsett Brown Foundation.
